Microsoft Surface with Windows 8 pro

Surface with Windows 8 Pro will run your current Windows 7 desktop applications – it’s a full PC AND a tablet.  And all this in a PC that will weigh less than two pounds and be less than 14 millimeters thick.

Microsoft announced the next series of Surface with Windows 8 pro. On their official blog The General Manager of Microsoft Surface Panos Panay talked about the price, configuration and release date of next Surface. The company says that the device come with two version 64GB and 128GB. 64GB version available at $899 and 128GB version available at $999.

The device runs on Intel’s next generation processor Core i5 with 10.6-inch display running at 1920×1080 full HD resolution. The device includes a full-size USB 3.0 port also support Mini DisplayPort to power an external display with resolution of 2560×1440. It will come with pen input and Palm Block that will prevent your handwriting from getting interrupted if you accidently place your palm on the screen as you write.

Microsoft didn’t give an exact release date, but the company says users can buy the device in January.
